Born in a family of three comprising two girls and one boy. She started discovering her inclination towards the less privileged when she was in High School.
She joined the Interact Club at High School in 2007. She vigilantly assisted in mobilising funds from individuals, families, churches, institutions and the corporate world to buy basic commodities for certain children’s homes.
In 2011, she joined the Charity Club at High School. She conducted a wide range of activities at school to raise money for the less privileged. Furthermore, she actively participated in support work and related assignments at Tariro House of Hope in Epworth during various functions.
Rutendo is a Board member of Trustee at Esteemed Children Trust. She looks forward to extensively reach out to a large number of orphans and bringing a permanent positive change to many people’s lives; especially the less privileged and marginalised of the society.
She is now a qualified Pharmacist after graduating with a Masters in Pharmacy at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom (UK). It is her dream to return to Zimbabwe to establish pharmacies that will specifically cater for orphaned and vulnerable children of Esteemed Children Trust. She is married to Tatenda Chiposi, also a renowned Pharmacist in England.
