Patiants Mugweni is a mental health nurse by profession and she is currently based in the United Kingdom. After obtaining her academic qualifications in this field, she ventured extensively in the field and profession of mental health. Experience has evidently revealed that mental health impacts negatively in children’s life. Such among many impacts include, poor cognitive ability, stigma from society, suffer rejection, emotional harm and distress through symptoms of psychosis that can potentially triggers self-harm and eventually death. Despite immediate impacts to personal, mental health challenges may have transferrable impacts to the immediate family such as dysfunctional family life and separation from families. To the society, it may result in a socially inappropriate behaviour, which eventually can lead to drugs. Patiants has extensive experience in all these aspects. Ordinarily, she does have unabated passion for the children. She has been sponsoring children for a very long time with educational support. As she is looking forward to joining ECT Board, she is determined to bring all this unparalleled experience to the organisation for the benefit of the children
